We are deeply saddened by the news of the
sudden passing of Dr. Peter J. Cheski from a massive heart
attack in the early morning hours of September 3, 2010. He will
be dearly missed by his staff, friends, family, patients,
colleagues, and all the members, faculty, officers and board of
directors of this breast society.
Dr. Cheski was an extraordinarily talented
cosmetic surgeon. He pioneered many innovations, most notably
the minimally invasive transumbilical breast augmentation
technique.
He was President-elect of the Breast Society
and was scheduled to become the next President of ASCBS next
year. He was the most productive and experienced cosmetic breast
surgeon in the Los Angeles. He had shared his knowledge and
experience in teaching other surgeons in his practice and in his
excellent presentations at the educational meetings and
workshops of the Breast Society more than any other surgeons
from this area and will be greatly missed by all of us who have
learned from him, been trained by him and who have and always
will remember and appreciate his kind generosity and willingness
to share.
Dr. Cheski's staff and colleagues have made
provisions to take care of his active patients' needs, as well
as the continuation of his cosmetic surgical practice.
Please keep his family, friends and staff in
your prayers during this time of mourning.

being planned for next week and we will post additional

American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. This website is
devoted to offering information about what we believe, do, and

involved, too.
The American Society of
Cosmetic Breast Surgery is a unique, not-for-profit organization
dedicated to the welfare of women through cosmetic breast
surgery. We believe in working directly with people wherever
they live, in contributing wherever there is a need, and in
working with each person until the job is done. It is only
through this spirit of cooperation and a commitment to work with
each other to achieve a common set of goals that we will reach
our ultimate goal of improving the opportunities of all women to
eliminate deformities, have an attractive and normal-looking
chest, and improve the quality of their lives. Our website will
only be as valuable as you make it through your use and
participation. We want to hear from you, and invite your
